Project overview
To remodel the existing unit to match Cinchs distinctive look, we stripped the outer skin of the existing front canopy roof, removing the hips, gutter and cladding, installing a new steel parapet wall structure.
We then installed insulated membrane lined gutters with new liners and fixing rails to the open areas where the hips were removed, then a new outer skin on the canopy roof and internal parapet walls.
All brick walls were gridded out with galvanised steel top hats and covered with Kingspan microrib insulated panels to match the company’s colour scheme.
Materials: Kingspan Micro rib panels, Firth Steels profiled roof sheets, KCS insulated gutters, Coverworld parapet purlins and galvanised top hats
Approx Area: Cladding 1000m2, canopy 230m2, insulated gutters 30Lm
Project Challenges
Working hand in hand with other trades took a lot of organisation and compromise. Luckily, we were working alongside some great other trades, with 4fronts project management seamlessly organising throughout.
Due to the awkward access and being positioned alongside a busy town centre street the use of plant was kept to a minimum and a full scaffold walkway was erected around the building.
Results
A complete transformation, leaving the run-down empty unit looking like new, with the interior completed simultaneously by 4Front allowing the client to open and start trading right away.
