CRS’ unit had previously had a full roof coating, yet continued to leak from multiple areas.
This particular supplier of roof coatings, based on the opposite side of the road to CRS does specify that its coating is not a cure for leaks and
any warranties would only cover the lifespan of the material and its protection of the original roof surface, which it was still achieving.
When specifying the overclad, our client already had a great deal of knowledge of the system and specification they’d like, including obsoleting the existing rooflights which were no longer necessary, dilapidated and adding greatly to the amount of water ingress.
Project Challenges
As this project came to us in December, we set out to deliver as much as possible during the clients Christmas break.
Meaning this non intrusive method of refurbishment was enhanced by not being too obstructive at ground level when using part of the clients car park as our welfare and storage compound.
Results
All leaks rectified,insulation improved and the unit aesthetically improved,making it like new.
Leaving the client happy with the results, a manufacturers warranty of 20 years, and our own workmanship guarantee to match.
