Who we are

CNN Industrial Roofing Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a family-run commercial and industrial roofing contractor based in the Midlands and working across the UK — a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15901296. We are the “data controller” responsible for your personal information, and we are registered with the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). What information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us — mainly when you fill in an enquiry or quote form, email us, or call us. That typically includes:

• Your name and (where relevant) your company;
• Your contact details — email address and phone number;
• The site location or postcode and details of the roof or project you tell us about;
• How you heard about us (so we know which of our efforts are working);
• Any other information you include in your message or photos you send us.

Our website itself does not use cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability, as is normal for any website.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey and provide a quote;
• Carry out and manage any roofing work you ask us to do;
• Keep in touch with you about your project and our services;
• Meet our legal, tax and health-and-safety obligations.

Our lawful bases for this are to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform that contract, to meet our legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in running and promoting our business. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We keep your information confidential and only share it where necessary to do the job or run the business — for example with trusted subcontractors or suppliers working on your project, and with the service providers who help us operate (such as our website host and our email and business-management systems). We may also share information where we are required to by law. Any providers who handle data on our behalf are required to keep it secure and use it only for the purposes we specify.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it — to deal with your enquiry, deliver and guarantee our work, and meet our legal and tax obligations (which can require records to be kept for several years). When we no longer need it, we securely delete or dispose of it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to: ask for a copy of the information we hold about you; ask us to correct anything that is wrong; ask us to delete it or restrict how we use it; object to our use of it; and, in some cases, ask us to transfer it.
